Serve and two-bounce start
Serve underhand and diagonally from behind the baseline, contacting the ball below the belly button and landing it beyond the kitchen line. The serve and return must each bounce once; after that, players may volley from anywhere.
Body play and net rebound save
The ball may be returned with the racket or any part of the body. If it hits the net and rebounds to your side, it may still be saved with the body or a non-string part of the racket before the rally ends.
FAQ
How does Stakes scoring work?
Win three rallies in a row to win a game. Scores are called 1-Up, 2-Up, 1-Down, or 2-Down from the server's perspective. A set is normally first to five games.
Does Typti have a kitchen restriction?
No. The kitchen line sets the minimum serve depth, but after the serve and return have each bounced once, players may volley from anywhere on the court.
What happens when the ball rebounds off the net?
The rally may continue. Before the rally ends, the ball can be saved with the body or a non-string part of the racket; the string bed cannot be used for this extra save.
